Powder of Indigo (Indigofera Tinctoria) plant Leaves. Premium quality leaves Ground Triple sifted and carefully packaged in 2 layers of bags.DIRECTIONS TO COLOR HAIR/BEARD INTO LIGHT BROWN; DARK BROWN; OR BLACK:P&H INDIGO powder is a natural blue dye. It is used with P&H HENNA powder to obtain these colors.MAKE PASTE FROM POWDER: HENNA PASTE: Mix 3 or more (up to 15) hours before application to hair. INDIGO POWDER: Mix just before applying; no more 5 to 10 minutes earlier.TWO STEP METHOD: Recommended for first time use to cover grey or white hair.Ready the paste as above. Apply Henna paste to clean hair Covering the entire length and roots.Cover head with plastic wrap. Wait 90 minutes. Rinse; do not shampoo. This gives an Orange / Red base to hair.Next apply Indigo paste and wrap hair in a shower cap or plastic wrap. Do this immediately or wait up to 24 hours after Henna application. Wait based on your desired hair colorBlack 120 minutes; Dark Brown 60 minutes; Light Brown 30 minutesRinse Do not shampoo for 48 hours while color is developingONE STEP METHOD: Ready the paste (See above ‘Make Paste from Powder’). Combine in a third bowl for desired color as follows:BLACK: 1 Part Henna; 3 Parts IndigoDARK BROWN: 1 Part Henna; 2 Parts IndigoLIGHT BROWN: 1 Part Henna; 1 Part Indigo.Apply Indigo paste to clean hair Covering the entire length and roots. Cover with plastic wrap. Wait 90 minutes. Rinse Do not shampoo for 24 hours while color is developing.
