Merritt International Rainbow Prism Pitcher 2qt. Merritt number 24090. Designed to look like glass, but with the durability of plastic, Merritt Int'l acrylic drinkware is a show stopper. The Rainbow colors in the bottom of the tumblers glisten in the light and reflect diff erent colors, just like a windowprism. This plastic is an excellent substitute for glass. Acrylic will not yellow and the colors are weather and sunlight resistant. Although it resists most chemicals found in normal use, dishwasher rinse agents and heat can cause cracking and crazing (hairline cracks) along the sides of the tumblers.
