THIS IS A NUMBERED PLATE BLOCK OF 20 STAMPS AS PICTURED. ~ In 1968 this series was originally issued to coincide with a new Boy Scouts' Flag Plaza. Nine of the tens stamps illustrate flags carried during the Revolutionary War. The other flag is the flag that flew over Fort McHenry during the War of 1812. They were originally issued in strips of ten stamps attached (SE-TENANT) Included are: Fort Moultrie Flag, Fort McHenry, Washington's Cruisers Flag, Bennington Flag, Rhode Island Flag, First Stars and Stripes, Bunker Hill Flag, Grand Union Flag, Philadelphia Light Horse Flag, First Navy Jack.
