We understand the importance of quality binding, thick paper and a tactile cover. Our journals are made to be beautiful and unique, but also strong enough to be carried with you always. Creoly journals are crafted by hand using age-old techniques from the Rajasthan area of India. Made from high quality cow and kid hides, it is easy to see the skill of these local artisans in the binding and decoration. Many of our journals feature hand-made cotton paper, which is a truly unique material made with scraps of waste fabric from the textile industry. The cotton is recycled into a pulp and then transformed into sheets of paper which are both beautiful to write on and environmentally friendly.
