This 12v 4 AMP Intelligent High Frequency Charger is suitable for golf trollies with 12.8v (4S) LiFePO4 LITHIUM battery packs. Suitable for any LiFePO4 LITHIUM batteries that charge via a 10.5mm LOTUS DC JACK connector such as the LITEPOWER batteries. Contrary to popular belief, LiFePO4 lithium batteries should only be charged using a specific LiFePO4 lithium charger, not a lead/acid or standard lithium charger. This charger is programmed with 3 auto charging stages: Ip–Im–Um. Stage “Ip” is a pre-charge function for deep discharged battery packs - This is helpful for battery cycle life! When the battery is recovered by the small current pre-charge, stage “Im” will give bulk current charging (up to 50W). Then, “Um” stage is followed, the output voltage is limited on C.V. point until the charge current has fallen to 0.1 C.C. value. At this stage the battery is charged completely and the charger will turn off automatically. The whole process is indicated by an LED display. Full instructions and AC mains lead supplied.
