This listing is for an engine rebuild kit compatible with Mercruiser 3.7L 224ci L-4 engines; commonly known as 470, 470R, and 3.7LX. This engine kit contains the following components: Piston Ring Set Rod & Main Bearing Set Full Engine Gasket Set NEW Oil Pump - does not replace aluminum oil pumps. Hypereutectic pistons - can be coated F-M, or Silvolite non-coated Hyper - depending on what is available Gasket set contains the gaskets required to assemble the engine (i.e. head gasket, crank seals, valve cover gasket, etc.), but may not contain all accessory gaskets. Check with your local marine dealer for any accessory gaskets that you may need to complete your assembly. (standard bore is 4.360".) BE SURE TO CHECK FIT and COMPATIBILITY BEFORE ASSEMBLY! This is a Standard/Stock Size Kit. Oversize Pistons, Rings, Rods and Mains are available at no extra cost.
