IndiTribes honey is collected from the deep forests in and around Mount Abu, Rajasthan. Our honey is therefore free of any chemicals, antibiotics and pesticides. The forests are full of flowering trees and plants including those with medicinal value. The bees collect nectar from these flowers and the honey that they create therefore has goodness of different types of flowers and hence, is more nutritious. IndiTribes honey is rarest of rare. The honey is collected by experienced collectors of Bhil tribes, the original forest-dwellers of that area who consider honey collection to be one of their traditional skill sets. Despite being experienced and knowing the terrain well, they undergo many hardships during honey collection and sometimes even lose their lives. After collection, the tribal groups deposit the honey in the Collection Centres set up by the State Government. We procure the honey straight from the Collection Centres; get the relevant lab tests done; and filter the honey. We do not put our honey through any heat or pasteurization process which results in the enzymes and nutrients of honey getting destroyed. We have an FSSAI license to package and market this honey.
