Korsteel Solid Rubber Mouth Loose Ring Snaffle Bit

This bit is beautifully soft for young horses. My only reservation is that it may be slightly too big around for a young horse to easily close his mouth on. My two year old QH appendix filly found it too large - she was unable to find a comfortable way to quietly close her mouth. I wasn't able to tell if she became accustomed to the feel of a bit.

Really quick delivery and nice light weight bit

My pony absolutely loves this bit as it is soft and moves and shapes in her mouth! She is a very strong Mounted games pony so I’m very pleased with how responsive she is playing in this bit and her micklem!

I love this bit and so does my horse. It’s not good for competition, great for pleasure riding. Did I say I love the but?😉

Bought for a sensitive ottb who fits in other 5” bits. The 5” was way too small. I returned and got the 5.5” which worked ok, but a 6” would have been the best to get the rings away from his lips. I bet it’s 20-22mm in diameter, which is super thick compared to most bits. And I actually think it was too thick for my gelding, and probably would be too thick for most horses. My horse likes to chew on bits but I didn’t think it was that bad. I feel like it got worse with this bit actually. In 10 rides and a few side rein lunge sessions he chewed through this bit. Sometimes bit trialing is like that with sensitive horses, I’m glad I tried it because now I know it doesn’t work. But the quality was just much lower than I would have expected.

My mare hated it but the bit itself seems well made.

My horse was fidgety in other bits and has a very soft mouth. He is doing well on this bit and is much quieter in the mouth.
