Description

Bored housewife Rebecca (Marianne Faithfull) dons her leather jumpsuit and sets off on her motorcycle to visit her lover Daniel (Alain Delon). Along the way she recalls moments in her relationships with Daniel and her husband (Roger Mutton), appreciates the beauty of the European countryside, has a number of sexual reveries and psychedelic freak-outs, and muses on such subjects as liberty and freedom. This racey existential road movie was one of the last films to be directed by Jack Cardiff before he made his return to cinematography.
