This hinge cam be used for new construction or to retrofit current construction. For new construction drill 35mm cup, 11mm deep, 2.5mm from the edge of the door. In the Dimension picture K+ 2.5mm For Retrofit applications if you have a Salice hinge that mounts with one screw to the faceframe and is stamped 1-1/4" on the arm and the holes that mount to the door match the hole placement pictured (there are some Salice hinges that have a different hole patern in the door) if they match this will be an easy hinge swap as all holes match. If you have the Salice hinge with 2 screws that mount to the frame and its stamped 1-1/4" you can still swap them, but you will have to drill new holes to mount hinge to the frame. This can be used to retrofit some other hinges, but you will have to verify some measurements to see if they will work. Accurate measurements are critical and dimensions from mfg are metric. 1st measurement the door overlay must be 1-1/4" measure your door, them measure the opening it covers. subtract the door width from the opening width and divide by two. result must be 1-1/4". 2nd measurement on your door there needs to be a 35mm cup drilled for the hinge, measure from the edge of your door to the edge of the cup, it must be 2.5mm for this hinge to work. If it is greater than 2.5mm the door will rub on the frame as the door is opened or closed. 3rd measurment, hinge to door mounting screws must be spaced 45mm center to center 4th measurement hinge to door mounting screws 29.5mm from edge of door to center of screw mounting hole.
